Detailed Migration Reports
After every migration operation, EdbMails Office 365 Migration software automatically generates a detailed, text-based log report. The report covers everything administrators need to know — the migration status of each mailbox, any errors or warnings that came up during the process, and an item count for every mailbox and its folders.
The migration log report is an important aspect of managing and monitoring migrations. Key information insights to support effective evaluation and management.
All of these detailed reports of the migration are intended to maintain understanding and informed decision-making throughout the process of migration.
- Migration Overview: EdbMails produces a very well-structured, Comprehensive Migration Summary which outlines all about the migration process in a single place. It shows complete migration status, any pending items, and migration statistics, which administrators can quickly assess the progress and efficiency of the migration.
- Detailed Migration Job Reports: Organizations dealing with more than one migration job can use these job-specific migration reports that will present details of individual migration jobs. Information such as the details of the data migrated, any errors that might have occurred, and the status of each migration job can be retrieved from this report, which helps IT admins solve the problem without impacting any other migration job.
- Status of Individual Mailboxes: EdbMails also has mailbox-level reporting with Individual Mailbox Report, giving an overview of each of the user mailbox migration status. It indicates successful transfer, errors, and pending items, and allows the administrator to have a clear view of each mailbox to ensure none are lost in the migration process.
These detailed migration reports are designed to ensure clarity and facilitate informed decision-making throughout the migration process.
